Our Projects

On these pages – see also the menu to the left – you will find some of our projects we're working on:

1. a Common URN Schema as a basis for identifying (and subsequently calling) distributed information resources.

2. a schema for URN inside XMP in order to extend the identification of resources to media resources, too (and objects represented therein).

3. a RNG Museum Record for describing museum or collection records using a minimalistic and non-centralistic approach.

4. a Common Doc/Data Repository for with a multitude of options for access, storage, retrieval and query, all thorugh W3C technologies exclusively (XML, XSLT, XQuery, XUpdate) and therefore highly resistant to any vendor lock-in.

5. a mechanism for Querying Across Servers in order to aggregate remote resources, making the partner sites working as a common system on demand.

6. a REST Interface for further access to the resources, including the possibility to write customized XQueries.
